I love my Clients: Blue Duck Saloon

This year, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with one of Prineville’s hidden treasures, the Blue Duck Saloon. Tucked just outside of downtown Prineville, Oregon, this 21-and-up establishment is inspired by the classic "Lonesome Dove" and has carved out a special place in our small town, where dining options are often limited.

A True Prineville Success Story

The owner, Kelly Green, is nothing short of an inspiration. Two years ago, she took a leap of faith and bought the saloon. Since then, she has transformed it into a warm, inviting space where chef-quality food and delectable drinks are the norm. I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand how Kelly pours her heart and soul into this place.

What sets Kelly apart is her hands-on approach. It’s not every day you find a restaurant owner who’s as involved in the day-to-day operations as she is. I’ve spent time working in the kitchen, and it’s always a joy to see Kelly right there beside us—grilling, prepping, running out to chat with customers, and ensuring that every detail is just right. It’s rare to find kitchen management that’s so connected with their front-line staff, but that’s Kelly. Her passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience translates into every dish, every drink, and every interaction at the Blue Duck Saloon.

Big Things Ahead for the Blue Duck Saloon

While foot traffic and word-of-mouth have been steadily growing, there’s still more on the horizon for this Prineville gem. Kelly has big dreams for the Blue Duck, including making it as farm-to-fork as possible. In a town where dining options are few and far between, she’s committed to offering something different—chef-quality dishes with ingredients sourced from local farms.

One of my favorite touches? The herb garden Kelly’s been nurturing right on the patio. It’s just a small glimpse into her vision for the future, and trust me, she has even more exciting plans up her sleeve for the coming year. As someone who’s had the honor of capturing the essence of the Blue Duck through photography and web design, I can’t help but be inspired by the atmosphere Kelly has created here. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that small business owners like Kelly pour into their dreams.

Connecting with the Community

I’m thrilled to have played a part in getting the Blue Duck Saloon established online and within our community. Prineville business photography and Prineville web design are my passions, and working with clients like Kelly makes it all the more rewarding. There’s something truly special about collaborating with fellow small business owners who are as dedicated to their craft as Kelly is to hers.

So, if you’re a hardworking, heart-driven small business owner in Central Oregon looking to elevate your online presence, I’d love to help take web design off your plate. And while you’re here, take a peek at the photography and web design I’ve been working on for the Blue Duck Saloon. There’s nothing quite like capturing the spirit of a place that’s as warm, inviting, and downright special as this one.

Let’s create something amazing together!
